Recently engaged? Congratulations! If you’re considering a Spring 2019 wedding or beyond, we’d love to create your dream wedding dress. Not sure where to start? We’re sharing the top five wedding dress trends for Spring 2019 brides – get inspired below!
1. Mock neck wedding dresses
Our favorite royal bride Meghan was ahead of the trend with her second wedding dress. The high mock neck is something we’ve seen an uptick in brides requesting. Perfect for the more modest bride or the gal who really wants to showcase her arms! P.S. We can customize your version of Meghan’s Markle’s second wedding dress starting at $800!
2. Veils
Instead of adding drama with a dress train, brides are shortening the back of the skirt and adding drama with a long veil instead. Perfect timing: we are thrilled to announce our own collection of handcrafted wedding veils, coming later this Summer! Whether you’re an Anomalie bride or not, you’ll be able to shop our stunning collection featuring three different lengths: fingertip, court, and cathedral, plus options for raw cut tulle, lace edge, horsehair and beading. As always, Anomalie vows impeccable quality at an affordable price – no absurd mark ups.
3. Unlined bodice with an exposed corset
Anomalie stylist Steph was inspired by Galia Lahav and Berta dresses when creating her own gown. She added a touch of sexiness by adding an unlined bodice with exposed corset. You can either strategically place the lace or add lined cups to cover the bust area.
In case you missed it, watch Steph meet her dress for the first time when she traveled overseas with our CEO, Leslie – an adventure of a lifetime!

4. Plunging necklines with nude illusion panels
If you’ve dreamt of a red carpet moment, then this type of dress for you. We’re seeing a lot of brides request deep necklines that are supported by nude illusion panels. Whether tulle or lace, we can customize the amount of coverage and support so you can have your movie star vibes without any wardrobe malfunctions (or annoying dress tape)!

5. Sophisticated and sleek crepe dresses
Calling all minimalist brides. We can craft your stylish, modern wedding gown with no frills, lace or beading. Crepe dresses are super on trend for 2019 brides. Mix it up with buttons down the back, a structured bodice or geometric or asymmetric neckline. Perfect for city brides or those getting married in a modern space like an art gallery, loft or rooftop.
Stylist Tip: Production time for our gorgeous custom gowns means we would love to work with brides that are 7+ months out from their wedding day. If you’re getting married in Spring 2019 or later, click here to get started on your custom wedding dress!
